Several of the photographs in this portfolio were captured on 120mm medium format film, others were captured in digital raw format and then digitally rendered to infrared-like images.
Visible light's wavelengths range from 380nm - 750nm. Violet light is near 400nm and red light is near 700nm.
Ultraviolet (UV) light is in the 190nm-400nm range.  Infrared (IR) light is in the 750nm - 1200nm range.  UV and IR light are invisible to the human eye without special equipment.
IR light is generally divided into near-IR (700-850nm), mid-IR (850-1000nm) and far-IR (1000-1200nm).  IR photography is confined to the near IR spectrum.  In the heyday of film, there were several specialized films that were used for IR photography
